Easily the best of the monthlies (and weeklies for that matter) for the general road rider. Best known for its detailed and thorough product and service reviews, Ride scores over its competitiors by not having a monomaniacal obesession with the single issue of speed. Good coverage of legal issues, riding skills, new bike individual and group tests, long-term tests, second-hand buyers guide,product news and the odd humorous piece.The style is pleasant, neither patronizingly simple nor overburdended with technicalese or wannabees jargon. The journalistic staff make an excellent job of communicating the facts while still expressing themselves as individuals.Thoroughly recommended.
