This magazine is packed with useful information about designing, building, renovating and so on your own house. Its got great pictures and case histories of people who have built and renovated. It gives you the full story including the difficulties as well as cost information. It also has a great website and associated publication called Plotfinder which has information on finding building plots. A must read for any would be self builder or home improver.
