This magazine has it all. There are clear, jargon free, reviews of all the lastest software, including games, and hardware. For this reason alone it would be worth buying this mag. However, the magazines real strength lies in the various tweaking and customising sections. The writers are able to convey often complex procedures for improving the performance of your PC in a straight forward way, and this is supplemented by helpful screenshots.If I had a criticism, it would be that all this tweaking is addictive. I look forward to each months issue, but I have also discovered that at some point I will tweak a tweak too far, and have to reload Windows. But I have so much fun messing around with my machine that it hardly matters. Of course, each mistake I make enables me to learn something new about the machine. I would never have used FDISK to partition my drive, if I hadnt first crashed the system.My machine now runs better than it ever has, and this is wholly down to the advice given in the pages of PCAnswers [and a little courage on my part].I think anyone with even a passing interest in how their machines work, will find this magazine a lot of fun. And, I havent even mentioned the excellent cover disc, which is usually filled with applications, many of which are freeware, and which you rarely find on other magazine cover discs.
